March 8th, Italian Society Film Screening: Mediterraneo
The Italian Society will have its first film screening, presenting the incredible Oscar-winning Italian film “Mediterraneo”.

The story is a comedic-tragedy, in the classic Italian film tradition, though it came out in 1991. The film follows the adventure of a handful of Italian soldiers under the Fascist regime during World War II, as they are placed in small Greek island of the Mediterranean.  As time goes by, they find than no ”enemy” is present on the island and their operation turns out to be more than just a military task.

Directed by  Gabriele Salvatores (Io non ho paura, Marrakesh Express) and starring the incredible Diego Abatantuono, the Society is proud to invite you to this great event.
